Terms and Conditions

1. Reservations & Confirmation

• All bookings are subject to availability and will be confirmed upon receipt of a valid credit card or advance payment.
• A booking confirmation email will be sent once the reservation is secured.

2. Payment Policy

• Full or partial payment may be required at the time of booking, depending on the rate or offer selected.
• We accept major credit cards and bank transfers. All payments must be made in Sri Lankan Rupees (LKR) or the agreed equivalent in foreign currency.

3. Cancellation Policy

Please refer to the table below for our seasonal cancellation terms:

Low/Mid Season (01 May–20 Jul, 01 Sep–31 Oct, 01 Mar–30 Apr)

• Over 30 days before arrival: No charge
• 15–30 days before arrival: 50% charge 0–14 days before arrival: 100% charge High/Peak Season (21 Jul–31 Aug, 01 Nov–19 Dec, 20 Dec–10 Jan, 11 Jan–28 Feb)
• Over 60 days before arrival: No charge
• 31–60 days before arrival: 50% charge
• 0–30 days before arrival: 100% charge

4. Check-in / Check-out

• Check-in: 1400 hrs
• Check-out: 1200 hrs
• Early check-in and late check-out are subject to availability and may incur additional

5. Children & Extra Beds

• Children under 5 years: Stay free with parents. One extra bed provided at no charge. Meals included for up to 2 children.
• Extra bed policy is given below in point 06.
• Baby cots are available on request at no extra charge.
• Parents/guardians are responsible for the safety and behavior of children at all times.

6. Driver Accommodation

• Kindly note that we do not offer accommodation for drivers. Assistance will be provided to locate suitable nearby lodging if required.

7. Extra Bed Policy

• Extra bed (adult or child above 5): US$ 25 per night.

8. Non-Refundable Bookings

• Certain promotional rates or flash sale offers may be non-refundable. These terms will be clearly stated at the time of booking and override the standard cancellation policy.

9. Liability & Force Majeure

• Kings Pavilion Kandy is not liable for any loss, damage, or injury to guests or their belongings unless caused by proven negligence.

• The hotel is not responsible for any cancellations or changes caused by events beyond our control (natural disasters, strikes, pandemics, etc.).

10. Privacy & Data Use

• By booking with us, you agree to our Privacy Policy which outlines how your personal data is collected, used, and protected.

11. Governing Law

• These terms are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka. Any disputes arising shall be subject to the jurisdiction of Sri Lankan courts.

12. Supplementary Charges

Compulsory Supplements

• Additional Adult (12 years and above): US$ 75 per night (inclusive of extra bed)
• Child (5 – 11.99 years): US$ 45 per night (inclusive of extra bed)

Meal Supplements

• Lunch: US$ 40 Nett per person
• Dinner: US$ 50 Nett per person
